1. What are cookies and similar technologies?
A cookie is a small text file placed in your browser by the website you visit, which makes it possible to recognise your subsequent visits or to compile statistics. Local storage is a similar storage area in the browser, with the difference that the data stored in it remains solely on your device.
We use cookies or similar storage only with your consent — except for what is strictly necessary for the operation of the site (Austrian Telecommunications Act (Telekommunikationsgesetz 2021, TKG 2021) § 165(3)).
2. How does the consent manager (cookie banner) work?
When you first visit the instaprice.ai website (hereinafter: the Website), a cookie banner appears in which you can decide whether to allow or refuse analytics measurement. The banner operates on the following principles:
- Before you give consent, no measurement code is loaded and no request is sent to any external service provider.
- We do not store your decision in a cookie: whether you accept or refuse, your decision is retained in your browser's local storage (
ip_consent) and never leaves your device. - Your decision is valid for 12 months; after that — or in the event of a material change to this policy — we will ask you again. All functions of the Website work fully even if you refuse.
3. The cookies and storage entries used, by category
3.1 Necessary (no consent required)
These entries are necessary for the basic operation of the Website — they serve to apply your decision and your language setting. They are not cookies but local storage entries: they never leave your device and are not suitable for tracking.

3.2 Analytics (only with consent)
These are placed only if you have consented to the analytics category in the banner. The measurement is performed by Google Analytics 4, loaded via Google Tag Manager; the provider is Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland); the safeguards for any transfer to the USA are described in section 5 of the Privacy Policy.

3.3 Marketing
We currently do not use marketing cookies, and there is no marketing category in the cookie banner. If in the future we were to introduce a marketing tool (e.g. advertising measurement), we will update this policy in advance and request separate consent for it.
4. How can you change or withdraw your decision?
- On the Website: by clicking the "Cookie settings" link in the footer, the banner can be reopened at any time, and your decision can be changed by category or withdrawn entirely. The withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
- In your browser: cookies can also be deleted in your browser settings.
